OneUptime on-call SMS alerts

Program terms. Last updated 2026-10-08.

What this program is

Pagoda Technology sends text messages to its own employees and contractors who are on call for the systems we operate. Messages come from our self-hosted incident-management tool, OneUptime, hosted at uptime.pagodatechnology.com. Nobody outside the company is enrolled and we never send marketing or promotional messages through this program.

Who receives messages

Only Pagoda Technology employees and contractors with an account on our OneUptime instance. Accounts are created by an administrator; there is no public signup.

How you opt in

  1. Sign in to uptime.pagodatechnology.com with your work account.
  2. Open User Settings → Notification Methods and choose Add Phone Number for SMS Notifications.
  3. OneUptime texts you a one-time verification code. Your number is enabled only after you enter that code.
  4. Choose which alerts reach you by SMS in your on-call notification rules. You can remove the number or turn SMS off at any time in the same place.

Consent is given by you, for your own number, inside an authenticated session. Nobody can enroll a number on your behalf.
